Modifying pages during the research process
The fleeting nature of content on the Internet is a common problem, and it has been a challenge in this project. Competitors themselves are aware of the state of their pages and have been making changes to improve them . Despite the positive effect of all this for users, we have had to repeat several tests in order to be able to truly compare the results obtained between competitors.

Difficulties in recruitment
This research involved 4 moderated and 12 unmoderated user tests on each of the pages. A total of 80 tests. Recruiting user test participants was undoubtedly the biggest challenge we faced.

Online trade in pharmacy and parapharmacy products is not the majority in Spain. As a result, the number of potential customers was much lower than in other cases. In other words, finding users who fit the profile and were willing to participate in the tests was a challenge. At this point, we would like to thank all users for their collaboration and for allowing us to carry out this study.

Large volume of information
The amount of information collected is large and often has to be processed by hand . This is a common problem in research projects that we face as researchers. To deal with it, it is essential to follow a methodology appropriate to the framework.

Learning from experience. Sectoral study of food.
As we mentioned at the beginning, a new sector study has been presented this year. In the previous one we analysed and compared the experience in different online supermarkets , but, once a sector usability study has been done, have they all been done? The answer is, obviously, no.

To begin with, it would be a mistake to think that the problems or best practices found in one sector will coincide with those found in another . The purpose of an industry study is to compare products that are in the same circumstances.

Depending on the context, the definition of the study will change, adapting to external conditions. Specifically, we see that the profile of the potential user of supermarket e-commerce is much more general than that of parapharmacy.

We then focus our analysis on where the data indicates. The way we approach some moments of the analysis has changed compared to the previous study. For example, in the study of online supermarkets, flowcharts were used to explain the triggers of the behaviour of the different types of users. However, this year, this option has been discarded.

The reason for this year's study's focus on the pharmacy sector is the detection of the rapid acceleration of the global pharmaceutical industry in the wake of the Covid-19 health crisis.
