Online Reputation and Tourism at CETT

This afternoon, Jorge Mira , founder and director of Prestigia Online , will give a session on Online Reputation Management and Tourism , as part of the e-Tourism Master's classes: marketing and commercialization strategies taught by CETT (International Center for training and knowledge transfer in hospitality and tourism affiliated with the University of Barcelona).

The 3-hour session will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. and will be teacher data aimed at students of the aforementioned master's degree from the 2009-2010 academic year.

Jorge, an online reputation specialist , will address the topic from the central axis of tourism and the growth of the Internet as a source of information in the consumer era. On the one hand, he will explain the need to understand the influence of the online medium on tourism decision-making . In addition, he will argue the importance of consumer opinions expressed in the different online channels and their interaction with the service and the tourism company. Using theory and his own experience, he will complete the content by explaining examples of companies in the sector that have known how to take advantage of the medium to increase their good online reputation, and others that, on the contrary, have not done so correctly.
