The budgets of those who set up their stands this year seem to be the most affected , although the expectation of the possibility of new and fruitful contacts is greater, and there are several sites that have organized online meetings and pre-networking.
In addition to the programme of activities within the large Ifema ios data venue, FiturTech , the forum for Innovation and Tourism Technology, will be held . The topics to be discussed are more than interesting: video marketing, geolocation, storytelling, tourism websites of the future and web analytics, among others.
The great tourism event has already begun and a good part of Spain, including myself, is waiting expectantly for the progress, presentations and dynamics generated by this Fair. In some years criticised for the unprofitable investment that tourism representatives had to make to set up their stands, in other editions with empty pavilions, today FITUR is an open door to professional synergies, to post-meeting dinners, to learning imparted by specialists, to the discovery of new destinations, new strategies, new businesses.
Tourism in Spain still has a long way to go, and the holding of this fair is yet another example of the necessary reinvention and daily work of all sectors of the economy. We look forward to hearing more!
