Reset Your Facebook Ads

Otherwise, if you know it's exclusively a Facebook Ads issue, it may be time to restart and create the campaign(s) from scratch. It could just be ad decay, so a hard reset will check that.

In absolutely desperate situations, you may even want to try a new ad account. But proceed with CAUTION. By resetting everything, you'll lose your ad history and account history, if you go that far. It will take a while for the optimization algorithms to get back up and running.


To do a hard reset on your Facebook Ads, here's another quick guide.

If it's a specific ad campaign, you can try duplicating the campaign and restarting it.
If that doesn't work, start with your best audiences/ad sets from before and rebuild everything step by step. For example, 1% Lookalikes and another good lead in a new campaign.
Use fresh ad creatives (3/4 treatments), perhaps inspired, but not chinese overseas europe data the same as your previous best performers.
Eliminate retargeting for now, so they don't take pixel conversions from prospecting campaigns.
Gradually redevelop your campaigns, first drawing inspiration from those that performed best before.
