Why should you use Google Analytics?
Any guide dedicated to this reality must begin with a definition: Google Analytics is a tool to improve your website. Not a simple method to find out how many visits you received yesterday or last whatsapp in philippines month. Of course, this is the litmus test to have a series of news regarding the good health of the website : having many visits is a good sign, it means that the website works.

How this application works
It's simple, at least at first. To get started with Google Analytics, you need to open an account, add a string of code to the end of the <head> section , and start tracking. Here's how:
Go to the app homepage , click Get Started for Free.
Set up a property, which is your website.
Define IP filters (for example that of your computers).
Add tracking code, connect site to Google Analytics.
There are different methods to insert this snippet : you can copy and paste the code, use Google Tag Manager or even a WordPress plugin. I do not recommend this last solution.
The main reason? Simple, there is no point in installing another component just for this operation. If you want to speed up a website you need to reduce useless plugins and to do this just open the file in the theme editor and paste the code before the closing <head> tag.
